Our beliefs about innovation
implementation, spread and
All change entails individual, personal decisions.
No matter the size of the effort, improvement comes down to each person making a decision to do something differently.
Innovations don’t replicate, they translate.
Innovations are never the same in different places, nor should they be. They must always adapt to local needs, contexts and conditions.
Enduring change happens incrementally.
Change happens when individuals find the courage and will to take a tiny step into discomfort. Over time, these small steps turn into large changes that will last.
Spread and endurance are the path to equity.
Innovations are not addressing equity unless they prioritize and explicitly address spread and endurance. If it doesn’t spread and it doesn’t last, it isn’t equitable.
